Yes and no.

Part of my story was that I refused to get any rehab (or surgery), because I had a family to support. And my wife was about to give birth. So, I went to work. Looking back, it was very hard for many years. My growth was more about 5-10 years later. And, I have to say, in the last year or two, it's been much more.

My point is that hardship breeds personal growth. I know it's hard to struggle financially, I have experienced financial struggles myself. The worst of these struggles caused me to come up with my best and most fruitful ideas for generating income. Perhaps my experience is somewhat unique, although I suspect that it is not.
