Dr. Erik M. Hines, Faculty Director and Assistant Professor in the Department of Educational Psychology said "African American males graduate at a lower rate than their peers" He believes that they will do better in an “African American” environment.
Will end up being a very expensive safespace ghost town ghetto.
Hines, who will serve as faculty advisor to the 40 students involved with the project, went on to say that SCHOLA2RS House is “a space for African American men to one, come together and validate their experiences that they may have on campus.”
“Number two, it’s also a space where they can have conversation and also talk with individuals who come from the same background who share the same experience.”
What he is politely saying is that mud students feel inferior around White students so therefore perform badly when compared to said White students.
There be that White Privilege raising its ugly head again.

Next they'll be wanting their own water fountains!
I was under the impression that there was some sort of program in the American school systems to 'bus' in muds to predominantly White schools so that the muds could better themselves. I'm now official confused!

LOL. Hopefully they'll reserve a room for the cops to stay in because they're going to be there a lot!

Wow! I have to admire you for using the correct forms of 'they're'and 'there'. Kind of rare these days.

I totally support this. We should have all black schools as well. And restaurants. And stores. And countries.

The specialized housing does not—quite—constitute a "segregated" residence, as it is currently optional, much like the "affinity housing" that other schools have put in place to serve as a "safe space" for minority students.
Yet it's 'segregation' and 'unacceptable' when whites want the same thing for themselves. We're not allowed to have anything that everyone else can have, thanks white privilege!

I can't see why anyone would want to, but if a human isn't allowed to live there, it's illegal just the same as the segregation people here would want.

Who is going to be in charge of physically building and maintaining this dormitory?

This is one of the reasons that Connecticut taxes are some of the highest in the country.

Also why GE pulled up stakes and left.

This is a good thing. It legitimizes segregation and gets the campus used to it.

This is wonderful news. Segregation is making a comeback!
