Agreed. Anthropology can't be a science and be 'politically correct' simultaneously. The two paradigms are mutually exclusive.

I took an anthropology class back in College. It was a joke. One day we would talk about skeletal differences between races, then the next, the professor would mention how race is only a social construct. It was such a confusing class, I felt like I was watching a Marxist's world view crash all around her(the professor), only to have her reaffirm her commitment to Marxism.

Remember when Wikipedia got rid of the mosaics of each ethnic group--for example, a page with "_______ People" and pics of famous members of that ethnic group--on the logic that "race doesn't exist"? Even ultra-Marxist anthropologists agree that ethnic groups exist, why should the Han be the only ethnic group that gets their own page?
