I think what the BLM people fail to realize is that nobody outside of their movement will ever take them seriously until the real problem in the black community is addressed - while police brutality and unjustified shootings cannot be tolerated in any form or fashion, it is but a minor issue compared to the wholesale slaughter that is black on black murder. I believe most people stare in disbelief at the energy and emotion that goes into these BLM demonstrations while roughly 93% of the murders of black people are done by other black people. Police murders of black people make up nothing more than a fraction of a percent of black murders.

Is there reason to scrutinize police brutality and any emphasis perpetrated on people of color? Absolutely (and throw the book at any cop who does it). But nobody is going to listen to people screaming about the unjustified killing of black people until black people stop slaughtering each other....and worse, acting like that does not matter.
