It's easier to acknowledge amerindian history because they developed enough to leave something behind for us to study.

Aztecs, Incans, Mayans, Olmecs: while some had some horrific practices and none of them were on-par with any Europan civilization, they left behind interesting stuff, and clearly had some level of sophistication. It's possible that, if left to their own devices, they might have evolved into something interesting, and it is kind of unfortunate that we won't get to see that.

Aside from a few random African... tribal names, I guess, I know next to nothing of African history, but get the sense that there's not much there to tell. I don't even know what distinguishes a "Bantu" from any other random sub-Saharan African tribe, other than that they're apparently more asinine than at least some others. It's all wooden spears and mud-huts, from now all the way back to antiquity, and probably beyond. No lore, no architecture, no discoveries: just a few warlords here and there. Fucking beavers make more complicated dwellings.
