If you do NOT know how to use and fire the weapons safely and how to maintain them, get training, and PRACTICE. Please, please, do NOT buy a gun, load up with ammo, then remain totally unfamiliar with your weapon and just "have it around" "for safety."

PRACTICE.

If you are not comfortable, get someone to work with you, train you, etc. Almost all decent gun stores & ranges have training programs, etc.

LEARN TO SHOOT AND SHOOT SAFELY.

Exactly, if you think you have trained enough, train more. Train to the point that there can't be ANY mistakes or missed shots. Then train some more. Join shooting competitions and three gun clubs, cause that will make you shoot in more tense situations. Then train more.

I'll get these good groupings then one of the rounds is way off and totally misses the silhouette, and I'm like "damn, how did that get over there?"

Need moar practice.
