Their dirt roads are probably better to drive on than paved roads in an inner city.

I absolutely loved driving through Western Nebraska. It wasn't the scenery (I was just on the interstate), the high winds, or the incredible cell service (T-Mobile and Sprint have none). The people were fantastic. Some of the kindest and most helpful people I've ever ran into.

I hope I can stop by Max some day. Thank you for sharing!

We have paved roads (major city in the PNW). They suck. Nothing but potholes and road snakes on top of record high taxation. It's never enough. There can never be enough money, or power, given to a corporation. They exist only to take and take, until there is nothing left. Like cancer.

Bay Area is like that as well. Ridiculously high gas taxes (among the rest of the taxes) and the roads are some of the worst I've been on. That said, the nice riding roads are well kept but the ones you usually ride on are pretty rough.
