It's not like they don't have the ability to compromise these endpoint devices. It is most certainly not as big a deal as LEAs would have us believe. The fact is encryption is an incredibly important tool to regular law abiding citizens. Implementing backdoors would only assist criminals and nation-state actors with the intent to commit human rights violations.

Plus considering the way that encryption works it is impossible to implement a backdoor in these algorithms without making them useless.

It is not dangerous, it is just a tool. The people that want a backdoor to eavesdrop on it are dangerous.
