Ion Fury to retain homophobic content after all
Recap: Ion Fury, a FPS set to 90's nostalgia from the creators of Duke Nukem 3D, had a "homophobic" sprite in it: a shampoo bottle that said "Ogay" instead of "Olay". Also there is a text string that reads "fagbag", though I don't know what it means or what it's for. This birthed a huge Resetera movement and it caused the devs to say they would remove the content... followed by a huge backlash from regular human beings that started cancelling their preorders because the developer bent their will to Resetera.
Just now, the developer AND publisher stated they WON'T be removing the content after all. I guess they realized who the bigger, more important audience was. Resetera, which was previously drunk with power on the influence they wielded over a developer, is not very happy about it.

Be a normal person. Buy the game if you want to play it. Don't buy it if you don't. Let the insane people fight on the internet.
