I don't know how much the rest of you know about treating women (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like a person can sexually assault/harass and become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over in a European club or a shower, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.
What this means is gaffots, after hearing about this, are not going to want to participate on a predator’s forum, nor will they associate with the community anymore. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but the elf has alienated an entire market with his moves.
Elf, publicly apologize and explain yourself or you can kiss your business goodbye!

It'd be hard to miss those feet.
He won't apologize. That's why he's in this mess.
Normal person with humility and self-awareness: "I misread the signals that evening and made a really stupid move to enter the shower while she was in there." (nevermind a normal person wouldn't enter the shower of someone who just puked her brains out)
Evilore: "We were friends with benefits involved in a love triangle while part of a secret cult. She's just jealous of me."
This guy hasn't remotely gotten what he deserves. At least not yet.

Pouring coffee over the NeoGAF servers to buy time for a statement is such a poor move to make. This isn't the Watergate scandal - get in front of it: "I was drunk and had just watched Spectre the previous evening, and forgot I wasn't Daniel Craig in a movie".
Taking hours (if not days) to make a statement, and letting the site go down in the interim, is an admission of wrongdoing. It's a deathblow when the situation could have just been an embarrassment.
