If you care even one ounce for your progressive ideals (you don't), you would continue voting in Democrats and continue letting the party push left over time (since, historically, it has).

Guilt-tripping. An act of desperation.

And you're never going to change the Democratic party into one that is less of a big tent, never.

That is why you continue to lose. You were so "old-guard" that you couldn't change your ways when a candidate with more personality and wit ran roughshod over YAASSS QUEEEENNNNN herself.

What you're trying to do is plant discord among the party members so that we don't win again.

Don't worry, the Dems are already accomplishing that on their own.

Because anyone with even an elementary understanding of how politics works in this country understands third parties always lose for a reason, and that every new party that springs up fails for a reason.

The funny part is that this is a valid point, but it's so wrapped up in zealotry and ignorance that he still comes off as a lunatic.

It's because the mechanisms for government make the barrier for entry too high, and because ignorant voters who don't understand shit about how our country work keep letting themselves get distracted so that conservatives keep getting elected and passing legislation and getting judges that push any such goal even further down the line.

Hahahaha... no. There are plenty of youth politicians out there. Hell, one of the councillors in the city I live is in his 20's and is very reasonable and beat a member of the "old guard" who thought he could coast through unchallenged.

The problem is that most youths are ignorant and don't know shit about anything. Call it "old man yelling at clouds" if you will, but politics requires a certain mindset and experience that frankly, no one at any college campus today has any thorough understanding of. It's all superficial nonsense and identity politics trying to distract from other, important issues.
