GAF still has a big enough industry footprint to draw in unique visitors which is what fuels the actual site not the people who have accounts and post. That is changing rapidly though. Tyler is already stepping up the ad revenue exploitation to even greater heights so you know income is down. GAF has had a deluge of bad press over the last couple years, this last year specifically.

The bullshit only goes so far before the train goes off the rails. Look at Gamefaqs, had 10k+ users on during prime time around 2007 and now struggle to hit 4k because of similar bullshit. GF was the original site to ban people en masse for trivial things.
