The funny thing is that only 36% of people in the 18-24 year old age bracket actually bothered to get out and vote one way or the other (in a referendum that had an overall turnout of over 70%).

So the actual numbers are that 75% of the 36% of the age group who actually bothered to vote on Thursday voted to stay, meaning that 73% of 18-24 year olds either explicitly voted to leave, or just didn't give enough of a shit to vote either way.
