There were 16 this year, I would assume the same for the next year. I'm actually kind surprised at the price tag. Seeing as how the NFL turns about $8 billion a year in profit a year and the amount Networks will pay hit shows' casts and such I would have thought it would be about twice that for a prime time weeknight ratings slam dunk, especially since the NFL has committed TNF to be exclusively division rival games and therefore almost always relevant.
