I must agree with my brothers in Austria. Your threats mean nothing. You know if you were to try anything dubious Europe will be at your throat.

The Prince condones Turkey and there threats.

The response of various euro countries here presupposes that the EU has already formally ceased to exist and that Germany does not own them and that they will take as much Kebab as Germany commands or face the wrath of the EU central command.

This thread is in danger of becoming fantastical on the basis of it ignoring various real world constraints on the state actors in the region. Turkey might absolutely do this but Europe would not simply stonewall them with all the bleeding hearts in control. The liberal media would go absolutely apeshit armageddon mode.

Let us understand this correctly; Turkey and Russia are having a "conflict of interest" and now you go running/crying to your "Allies" and start demanding Russia to lift the sanctions.... Or else.... What is Europe going to do anyway, impose more sanctions on Russia?

Russia will not back down it's sanctions until:

  • We have received a formal excuse from Prime minister Erdogan himself for the shooting down of our Sukhoi Su-24 in 2015.

  • Turkey stops supporting ISIS, trading with them and buying their oil

For all your allies and "friends", it is clear to see that this is nothing less then blatant "extortion"

  • Just wondering how these refugees would be "unleashed" upon mother Russia, altough we do have asylumseekers and allow a limited ammount into our country, only a few decide to actually head to Russia. So Would these Armenians refugees be forced marched trough the war thorn eastern side of your country and then trough the Armenia - Azerbaijan conflict region to reach our borders?

[m] Then again this has nothing to do with Turk - Russia relations, I'm feeling you are overplaying your hand on this.

I do agree that the reactions from EU countries are harsh and backlash will be huge when pressure on the borders will start and refugee's will start drowning / dying.

President Aziz of Mauritania makes a press statement saying they will accept refugees in exchange for aid.
