[TURTLE ISLAND, FIJI]
Fiji Times
American Actor Johnny Depp landed in Fiji yesterday, but in a different resort than he intended. After the government took control of Wakaya Island, the private resort has been closed to all guests as it undergoes repairs and renovations for a project the government has yet to disclose. Depp, a regular visitor to Gilmour's private villas, was expecting to take his normal respite in his usual resort. However, upon landing and realized he was at a different resort on the opposite side of the islands, he became agitated to a state of discontent.
Depp's personal assistants did their best to cater to his needs as Turtle Resort relocated current guests to give the star as close to a replication of Wakaya Island as possible, but the star remained unappeased. He, too, demanded an answer from the Fijian government on the plans for the island, but the only comment made has been "no comment".
Residents and guests alike have speculated on the new development, from a secret military testing field to an extraterrestrial investigation lab. We will continue to keep the public updated as we learn more.

[M] We are a political roleplaying game. In my play of Fiji, the government was gifted control of Wakaya Island, a privately-owned island in Fiji's waters that housed an exclusive resort celebrities normally visited. The government has shut it down and is currently doing renovations, but haven't released why.
In-game, Depp likes that resort a lot, and at 65 years old in-game I'm sure he'd like to go back to the same resort he'd been going to for years. Instead, he lands in a separate resort very different from his normal and got upset.
Besides that, it's a small island nation. What else do we have to report on besides celebrity sightings?
