--Part 2 of 2 of today's announcement by the Hong Kong government.--
"And our second project, which we know that many of you will like, will be out of this world! That's right, we're building a space center!"
"The space center will be built on Po Toi island. It being built there will drive more tourism to the nearby village, boosting income to the people there. Researchers say that the center will take 5 years minimum to build, but may take more depending on how complex it is decided to be. We're paying $40 billion USD to build it, which is over 5x what the United State's Kennedy Space Center cost to build. Our goal is to pay $8 billion each year, so we don't use all our budget in one year. With all the funds, we hope it will be the best center in the world."
"Although I wish we had more to share, I'm afraid that's all for now everyone. Thank you for watching folks, and stay tuned for any more announcement that may come up."
After he finished his speech, Chief Executive Jackie Chan walked off the stage, and into a group of reporters. No articles have been posted yet detailing anything else that was not covered in the announcements, but only time will tell.
