The Dutch King and Queen had enjoyed their visit to the Caribbean part of the Kingdom. It was good to see the region getting more stable and that reflected in so much love and happy faces. The first royal state visit to Suriname in 50 years went especially well. The new PM Clarence Seedorf and the royal couple we're very informal and friendly among each-other.
Now it was time for another historic occasion. The first Royal state visit to Cuba. Queen Maxima was looking especially forward to speaking Spanish (she's Argentinian by birth) and dipping into the Rumba vibe of Havana, King Willem Alexander was especially looking forward to drinking Rum and smoking big fat juicy cigars!
The Royal couple and a group of dutch delegates (Dutch companies, Cultural and education institutions etc.) has boarded their plane on Paramaribo international airport and will arrive shortly.

The Royal couple was rumored to be dancing into the small hours of the night taking in all the Havana nightlife could offer. President Cortez seemed to be a solid drinking partner and the atmosphere was very friendly. It is rumored that most of Havana has turned into a mass of partying and drinking people. Media reports have been very sparse the last few hours.
