The Noergr Conscription act has passed with a 54% vote. The Ruling party under the Prime Minister, as well as 3% of the independent vote have voted 'Yes', while 46% of the Opposition coalition has voted 'No'. The act will make the 19-month service with 12-month service obligation, a 24-month and 36-month service obligation. After the two year military obligation, the Norwegian government will allow the conscripts to undergo a year of civil-service training of their choice. Norway will pledge 1.37 Billion Euro to this act.
All able bodied Swedes which received full amnesty under the "Swedish Refugee Act" [M] roll for numbers: 300,000 divided by roll number. eg: 300,000 divided by 5(0%) = 150,000 [/M] will report for basic training within 30 days. As well, all able bodied Norwegians [M] 1,078,181 males, age 16-55. 1,046,550 females, age 16-55 = 2,124,731 available manpower. [See: Available for
military] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norwegian_Armed_Forces) divided by roll number [/M] will report for basic training within 60 days.
"I said to the Swedish people that came to Norway under the (Swedish Refugee) act that I would get them jobs. This is it, my friends. You scratch our (Norway's) back, and we'll scratch yours. Let our nations military be as feared and respected as the vikings of old. Let the (former) Swedish government see the error of their immigration policies that drove their own wonderful people away in action. Norway is a peace-loving nation, we are not a warlike people. Let this act show the whole world that we are peacekeepers and humanitarians. We wish to show everyone the world over the greatness of our nation".

Ukraine is wary of the Norwegian conscription act due to their recent improved of relations with the Russian Federation. Norway was not involved in the Moscow Pact and we are concerned that Norway may be considering entering into a defensive alliance with the Russian Federation.

Daylom, Norway's Prime Minister balks at these comments.
Ukraine, we are a founding member of NATO, the same alliance that is currently supporting you in your war against "RUSSIAN" rebels. This is both short sighted and reactionary. Why would you be weary of us entering a DEFENSIVE alliance? Is Kiev thinking of attacking Norway? Our alliance rests with NATO, YOUR ally.

From President Poroshenko:
"We are concerned that Norway could be entering into a defensive agreement with a country who has actively engaged in sending intercept fighters into our own country's air space and shooting down 10 of our helicopters and fighter jets. We are grateful of the support we have received from the Western nations and our allies in NATO, but we are wary of any nation that may be improving relations with the Russian Federation as they could be seeking to join an alliance with the countries of the Moscow Pact. Kyiv has no ill feelings towards Olso or Norway. We are expressing our concerns for their diplomatic paths."

In fairness,
NATO is concerned towards Russia but not engaged.
Ukraine is allied to USA, but not considered a NATO ally.
As far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong.

The US government is aware of this act and is keeping a close eye on Norway given their recent and sudden warmth to Russia.

[M] Good quality post, but going to have to discuss this with fellow mods.
On below points:
If it's just cause for conscripts, Norway is NATO/Neutral.
If a roll should be made for the vote
If Swedes are allowed to join
If build up is correct.
If rolls are correct.
Consequences for stability in country (democracy) and economic suffering.
maybe some other things
Could you provide the link from Swedish refugees thread?
Please give us some time to discuss as we are on different timezones. We will be open for feedback on decisions and encourage it.
