I mainly created this "subverse" / mirror because I felt /r/MetaRedditCancer was a good opportunity to talk about the above, and was frustrated the subreddit had been locked down by the admins.

So while reddit has /r/twoxchromosomes and the mods aim it to be a support sub for womens issues, but with /r/oney it feels like the mods want it to be "twox 2.0: how can men understand their toxic masculinity" which I think is bull obviously.

Come on: women get to have a generally supportive, positive sub and it's a default, but men's sub has to be steering into "self flagellating" territory? This is something people should be able to talk about: I think it's legitimately not good.

But people can't even talk about it on reddit because SRD is dominated by people who, because they have this party line to carry, well they insist we look the other way about it. And also stuff like /r/metaredditcancer gets locked down.

Thankfully, we have a true men's support sub, /r/TwoYChromosomes

I find this post about OneY absolutely amusing. I had a heated conversation with the creator of OneY when it was less than a week old. I could tell then this was going to be the end-game for OneY, to be taken over by the SJWs. He was way to chummy with twoX...now we know why.

TITrC IMHO is one of the more rational ones, I have had a few conversations with him and he doesn't seem to immediately dismiss counter arguments but one thing is clear. He is very fixated on his position and he sees it as a belief so getting him to change his stance is probably an exercise in futility.

That is just the way things are, and honestly I have no problem with that as long as he stays in his spaces and doesn't affect me too greatly. I do believe a lot of his views are toxic to men, and I think that probably stems from (IMO) his lack of masculinity. It is easy to dismiss masculinity as unnecessary when it isn't something that you naturally possess.
