I don't buy the whole "fake women being sexy will depreciate the value of real women," thing that's going around. (Just look at how they feel about female video game characters-- they're not even physical entities, and somehow, they're going to turn all our men into judgemental rape-beasts. :/) To assume that men would judge a real human by standards of a fake person is pretty stupid. No one assumes women are going to judge men based off the body standards of, say, super heroes. That's stupid, because obviously only about 0.001% of the population is going to look like that. We don't just suddenly start being intolerant of imperfections because fictional people who can be imperfect are. If you feel threatened by a robot, you're probably not in a position to be in a serious relationship anyway.

this is very true, and if you look at the women who oppose sex robots (and porn, and young models, and pretty women in advertising and and and) you will see that they are very undesirable women. their game is to push for laws that limit other people's liberties in hopes that it will lead to them gaining a desirable partner.

ALL relationships are power struggles (even the relationship between you and your food). this is because mass is energy, and ultimately all actions are exchanges of energy and energy is power. this cannot be undone by any philosophy.

Shit, especially the relationship between me and my food is a power struggle. The nachos win every time.
