Nope. And that's not even going into overcrowding/guard numbers.

She was acquitted on the murder charge and is actually serving for a different offense as per your article. If she had been found guilty, it'd be highly unlikely she would have gone to Albion according to New York law, she would have probably gone to Bedford Hills, a maximum security prison. There are no kid gloves here, you are just twisting the topic.

So she wasn't even convicted? That hardly makes the situation any better, and definitely constitutes being handled with kid gloves.

Abuse of any kind is a very serious thing which should not be diminutized because of gender.

All I'm calling for is equality. If the defence works for women it should work for men too.
