I put myself in a similar situation when I was just out of high school. I was fortunate enough that I didn't bend to the pressure of the community.

I challenged the woman's assertion that I was the father and there wasn't another possibility. To make it worse, her mother was dying of cancer and ended up passing before the child was born.

I was threatened with civil suits as well as custody suits. The entire community practically shunned me. Dating was impossible. The ladies didn't want anything to do with a man who didn't want to care for his own. I stood strong. I tried to reassure her and everyone that I simply wanted verification it was mine and that I would raise my child as a man should if the test determined that I was indeed the father. People began saying that I treated women like whores and that I was projecting my own infidelities on her. People blamed me and called me all sorts off derogatory names. People I grew up with wouldn't give me so much as a nod in passing.

When the child turned 6 months old, I finally got the DNA test I had requested. Fortunately, the child wasn't mine. I wasn't a dick about it. In fact, I didn't say anything. Our small farming community found out on their own and slowly but surely I could see them tucking their tails and turning around. Many apologized. Most just ignored it. The look of disappointment in themselves was vindication enough for me.

Edit: I still see this lady from time to time. She married a local farmer who is seemingly nice enough. Before I deleted my social media accounts, she had reached out to me. She acted like she wanted to talk and be friends. Then she stated telling me how he hits her and she is afraid of him. After she refused to go to the authorities, I realized what she was doing and I cut off all my social media.

Hahahah he hits her. Fuck women who do this, murder is one option

I don't think he hits her. I think she was trying to use this to manipulate me into feeling sympathy for her. I honestly believe she was trying to "hook up" again. Between this and some of the other things she said/did, I'm confident this was her intentions. We were both married and she invited me out for a night out with her and her lady friends. She had told her "abusive" husband she was going to have a girls night. Apparently he was so abusive and controlling that he let her go out.

I'm not going to delete this because it's borderline and you may have meant something else, but please check out rule 2 in the sidebar.

You dodged a bullet. Glad you stayed strong and didn't bend to the pressure.

Thank you. It was tough. I was raised to take care of my responsibilities. I knew I had unprotected sex with her but something seemed off. The night of her birthday, she called me asking to come over. All she wanted to do that night was "celebrate". It was peculiar but I had fun. About a month later she told me she was pregnant. All of a sudden, the dates didn't line up and a friend of hers told me she had slept with two guys in one night at party a couple weeks before her birthday. That didn't bother me. We weren't dating. However, suddenly, I began to question everything. Turns out that my gut instincts were correct.

Edit: something I didn't add was how easy it was for everyone to assume that the man (me) was at fault without knowing any facts. They didn't know that she called me asking to come over or that it was her idea to have sex several times that night without protection. They also weren't aware that we weren't dating and I had no issues with her promiscuity. In fact, I was turned on by her assertiveness. Either way, I never said I wouldn't take care of my new family If it turned out to be my child but everyone automatically assumed that I was a horrible person who didn't want to be burdened with a child and that I was the predator in the situation that took advantage of a young woman who was struggling with the fact that her only parent was I her death bed.

This is the exact reason I draw issue with feminism. The man is always evil. The man is always the aggressor. It is always the makes fault. I was almost raped by a woman when I was in my early 20's. I had been partying since I woke up. While high, I ended up falling asleep on my living room floor. I woke up to a lady I knew had a crush on me trying to undo my pants. I was ASLEEP! When I turned her down, she became quite upset. I knew what had happened but was so afraid she would try and spin it on me and accuse me which would have led to me being arrested and charged.

So a proper resolution to this is make paternity tests standard course upon birth.

[–] bikergang_accountant 0 points 12 points (+12|-0) ago

It's worth it. To lower costs you could have the man able to forgo the test if he wishes but make the choice fully anonymous.

[–] sinjinsmythe 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

But why? The law cuts off paternity, why not also mandate the test be taken as part of same law? I guess there may be some beta cucks that don't want to "know" even though they know, kinda thing, but still.

I don't understand the year limits to paternity tests, if it's not yours, it's not yours. The whore should identify the real father and if not, well welcome to single motherhood! The feminist dream!

It's simple : The state doesn't want the financial burden so the first sucker that comes along gets fucked.

My alternative solution: it's on the mother to prove that there's a willing provider in the picture before the birth. Otherwise, she gets several dozen trips down a large flight of stairs.

It comes down to "Father figure". There's many documented cases of it and even retardation such as this: https://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101003210001AAeIBj3

Which really doesn't make sense because if having a father figure is so important, why do we allow single women to keep their kids? Why do we allow single women to adopt?

It's bullshit.

Understanding is not an option in Oklahoma concerning paternity.

Statutes of limitations are common throughout the law. Why can't you be prosecuted five years after committing a felony? Why can't you sue for a breach of contract more than four years after the breach? Among other things, it's not fair to make someone try to defend a claim years after the fact. Imagine if the guy waited until the kid turned 18 then asked for a refund of the tens of thousands in child support he paid. It's not fair to the kid because the opportunity to find the biological father may have been lost, and it's not fair to the biological father who has no idea there is a kid out there and he's now responsible for back child support.

Except you're not making someone defend a claim.

You're comparing chains of nucleotides.

Entirely different.

The other difference there is how long ago the thing occurred. All your examples, including the refund example, are things that happened in the past, while the example here is something which is ongoing.

Time to ger visitation rights, and teach the kid mommys a whore. She'll let him off

0

[–] kevdude 0 points 5 points (+5|-0) ago

That is a great idea. Since you're paying you do have that right. Spend the whole time telling the kid that it doesn't have to listen to its mom, that she is a bad woman, all sorts of shit. Make her push the issue in court to get you away from her kid.

[–] Rotteuxx 1 points 7 points (+8|-1) ago

I wouldn't try to play that angle because the guy would simply lose visitation & still be stuck paying.

The kid is innocent, might as well try to raise a mature person with good values if you're gonna spend time with him.

Or have the kid plant some drugs in her house, call the cops and have her loose custody. Then get full custody and make her paid child support...lol

Pretty sure that could be spun as child-abuse. Not sure they'd be wrong either.

France has a similar law about paying child support for kids that aernt yours.

Fuck feminist

It's even worse over there: Even if you can prove it from the beginning you still have to pay up. They do it to "protect the family."

the courts are F'd up for sure.. things like this have happened way too often.. usually it's because the judge decides it would be easier to get money for the child from the person closest to him.. this is like keeping a man in jail after learning he is innocent.. having willingly paid child support, it is necessary and should be done, but it is a burden..

Oklahoma man is forced to pay child support for baby his cheating wife conceived with her lover | Daily Mail Online

"An Oklahoma man is being forced to pay child support for another man's child because he ordered a paternity test too late.", "However, he thinks DNA should be a determining factor for whether or not a man must pay child support rather than the child's age."

' But without their approval Thomas will be liable for child support for the next 15 years. ', "When the couple's marriage fell apart around the time the baby turned three, something led Thomas to ask for a paternity test."

'But after revisiting the law, the judge ordered the duped dad to pay $500 per month in child support plus $15,000 in back support plus interest. '

This has been an automated message.

Wow... this is just plain wrong and fucked up. Poor guy, getting shafted by retarded laws like that.

'In conclusion, there is a presumption of paternity for a child born of a marriage. A biological father of a child born outside of marriage must take affirmative action to establish a legal presumption of paternity.'

'Once established, the presumption is rebuttable until the child’s second birthday. After that time, the presumption is not rebuttable unless the presumed father, mother and biological father all agree to adjudicate the paternity of the child. If there is a doubt, the father should take legal action before the child’s second birthday and request genetic testing to prove the biological connection, otherwise it will be difficult if not impossible to overcome the presumption of paternity.'
