as someone who is actually somewhat familiar with the MMA athlete mindset, this is completely unfounded.
most high level fighters are less likely to be interested in violence, not more likely. i'm not saying that applies in this case specifically, but your blanket statement covering fighters and violence is absolutely incorrect. her tendencies for domestic abuse have no connection with her MMA experience. yes, the desire to do violence and the desire to do MMA may come from the same place, but one does not cause the other.
all that said, i do need to concede that while male fighters are less likely to be violent than male non-fighters, female fighters are more likely to be violent than female non-fighters.
If she did this to the husband, just imagine what she might do to the child, when they are old enough to have friends over too late.
Well... I think that was probably more because she thought he was cheating on her, which isn't exactly likely with the child. Still though, not exactly a sign of emotional stability.
Last week, my friend was savagely beaten in front of my eyes by his ex girlfriend. Now he's looking at the possibility of having to return their infant daughter to a dangerous environment.

And yet, I bet the court will still award custody to the mother, because somehow giving birth to the child is a prerequisites for being a good parent.

I shudder to think of it. Unless she only beat him because he was a man...

Since she was an MMA fighter, you can easily assume she has no problem hitting women.

Ah yes, very true.
One would hope she wouldn't hit children like they were an MMA fighter, but if she does that to the father, I ain't holding out any hope.

First bit on the post says she's his ex gf.
