Mine went well, too. Day 1 for me, and I intended to meditate in a quiet church somewhere, but everything was closed. About halfway through, I was able to concentrate more easily, but I've always had problems with breathing in meditation. It feels like I'm not getting enough breath in when I unconsciously breathe. My spine is straight, but when I used to meditate lying down, I used to be able to get much more breath in. Any solutions?

Sorry for hijacking your thread haha

Discussion is what the thread's for, my friend!

Solution is to simply trust your body. Your body knows how much breath it needs, so just let it do its job and observe. Do you know that it's impossible to hold your breath long enough to do any damage even if you were actively doing so?

Interesting read, I did read something like it before. Looking forward to improving this condition with future meditations.

Thanks, I guess I just have to practice sitting and getting comfortable and relaxed.
