Trust me, I know a good number of articles I post don't say a whole lot. On the other hand I just don't know who might find the article informative perhaps due to their youth and not having the plethora of information I have being in my 50's. And an article can lead some to want to look into something further.

But I hear you. I sometimes stare at articles and think, should I post this? I usually do. You should see the ones I don't.

I'm not against you or the articles you post generally. I find many of them interesting. This is just very non informative one.

My rant was not directed at you, more at the healthcare/science/bioinformatics industry + startups

I know it isn't pointed at me. I have a chronic illness and I have been maligned by the healthcare/science/bioinformatics industry and startups. Don't get me started on the alternative health and nutrition industry and what they have done to patients like myself. RIPOFF! Hence, my keen interest in medical research. And although I can't always smell a nasty piece of false or corrupted research in most of the fields, I can usually spot it in mine. That came from 40 years of trying to get well with every specialist and nutritionist and alternative care that I could and living through the dreaded XMRV virus debacle for ME/CFS patients and the decades of bad CDC, NIH and FDA help for ME/CFS and Fibro.

So I did know it wasn't directed at me, everyone is frustrated with all the research out there because a lot of it is not getting any of us anywhere. Yet, I am compelled to post the life out of it. And I am still holding out hope that they will make a breakthrough with my illnesses.
