Yep. Post something against the status quo, and unless you're lucky enough to get enough legit upvotes for having provided actual content or information, you're just about guaranteed to be downvoted to oblivion, with the usual circular arguments posted as a response to anything you try to say.

Call it a hunch, the mods (or at least one, anyway) of r/gameofthrones were told by the media that any mention of the leaked episodes is to be eliminated by any means necessary.

It's a bit of a tinfoil theory but I do think you're right to a point. They certainly suck up to HBO a whooole lot, that's for sure. They must be one of the biggest forums for GoT on the web?

Possibly. At almost half a million subscribers, there's a looooot of incentive for HBO to want to avoid all of them knowing about the leaked episodes.

A bit tinfoily, but the same can be argued about any complaint against big business.
