Glad I haven't been on Reddit in a while.

Our opinions should not be swayed by force. Ever.

Front page today had an article that someone in the comments pointed out as being the same cop from another video. Refrenced video absent from reddit. Op steps in with link to refrenced video and a link to a special little place we all need Voat.co

I don't get it, you literally can't post about the Clintons because of the election?

Reddit removed up and down vote counts to mask swaying by outside sources, similarly to how yelp allows removal of negative comments by monies.

Once reddit was purchased by conde nast, it fell into the same agenda as any other news source. Political influences, and money are becoming ever more clear in the fuel that runs it. In essence reddit has slowly become the comments section in articles that require a fb log in.

I believe the logic is that political TILs aren't allowed because otherwise they tend to drive out other content. TIL Obama is a cunt vs TIL Obama is world greatest hero, etc.

That's not really logic, more of an excuse, really.

Reddit is cancer.

Most of reddit IMO. The more obscure subs have larger communities there than the matching subverses here, so I still go to those for content.

Just as long as the subs have nothing to do with any sociopolitical issue whatsoever.

Agreed, until we have a larger user-base here (which I'm iffy about anyway) I'll still use the small niche subs there. Sure, some of them probably still have shitty mods but not the ones I frequent.

Don't try to tell me that Reddit isn't moderated by left wing Hillary supporters.

They took over /r/politics right around the time Sarah Palin was chosen by John McCain to be his Vice Presidential candidate. Suddenly libertarian material was downvoted or removed. Prior to that Ron Paul was just as popular on /r/politics as Democrats. Afterwards only non-Democrat comments prefaced with "while I disagree with (non-Democrat) on most things" could be upvoted.

Ron Paul wasn't seen as a hardcore lunatic GOP runner though.

That's why the left leaning /r/politics supported him.

Someone find a fact showing Bill in a positive light and post it on Reddit. I'm certain the results will be delicious.

In 1993 the FBI supplied explosives to blow up the world trade center. I presume they were going to blame it on Iraq.
