You can't blame a college student for living with his mom, especially when his dad just died a year ago. College is expensive as fuck and student loan debt blows

We can blame the parents for suggesting this guy go to college to start and should have gone to trade school.
Sounds like Junior needs to grow up and move out. This seems more like they are trying to get the fuckers to move out the basement and he isn't taking a fucking hint. Mom wants to move on with her life and forget his dad existed. I bet the son reminds the mom of her dead husband.
This kid is an asshole and the product of his lack of upbringing. They deserve the hell they have found themselves in.

You don't have to find something wrong with everyone and condemn them for it. Nobodies lives are perfect, everybody makes mistakes, bad things happen, and people try to do the best they can for themselves with what they've got.
There's nothing in the reddit post that says he should be condemned and ashamed due to his living situation, or that his family should be for letting him live that way. There are a lot of people going out and raking up college loan debt to have an apartment because they feel like that's rhe way they're supposed to be living who then later regret it because they realize they weren't ready to both live on their own and to take school seriously, and they would have been better off if they did things differently, such as living at home with their parents.
