The question is not, "will this be another Reddit?" The question will be, "Will Voat understand the vast potential of working with and developing a talented and diverse community properly rather than looking to exploit them and treat them with the condescension of a gaggle of "Swimming With Sharks," type-A corporate assholes?" as Reddit's corporate admins and CEO have tried to do.

The Reddit owners are trying to cash in hard on the free labor and devotion of those dedicated to their passions and interested in sharing their info and expertise. Like Arianna Huffington, Reddit is looking to make money on the backs of unpaid effort.

Those who contributed freely, early-on to make Huffington Post a success didn't get a percentage of Arianna's payout when she sold it. Victoria's sh*tty treatment is just a clarion portent of how the management at Reddit fully intends to treat those whom they consider peons and unpaid labor; those who actually did the heavy lifting to make Reddit popular.

Reddit's management couldn't be more clueless. Or more callous.
