This guy found why so many poor people are poor. They're just stupid.

Gee, its almost like illegal immigrants who come to this country, take advantage of everything our country has to offer, then at the end of the day, give a big fuck you to all the US citizens who work hard to provide the tax revenue that provides them with everything.

Its like its part of the reason why we want them deported.

I live in an area with a lot of Hispanics. Trust me, most illegal immigrants are assholes. I've already seen them doing petty things like sitting in handicap spots. There does seem to be fewer now a days though.

Not entirely sure he actually came to that conclusion. Sounded a bit like he blamed their education or something.

There are many people who are not below average with regards to IQ, but with no education, they appear to be stupid. Conversely, not-so-smart people can seem smarter when they are properly educated.

Although, in this case, I'm not so sure.

He came to the conclusion that they were doing it because society didn't cater to their needs enough. They just never had the opportunity to learn to be on time or do what was asked of them. So the stupid remain stupid.

Not stupid as much as they refuse to do the things that would prevent them from being poor. Ultimately, it boils down to laziness. They literally don't want to do the difficult things it takes to make those lifestyle choices.

  • Change who you're around, you'll change what you do.

  • Change what you do, you'll get different things.

  • Change the things you get in life, take a different path to self betterment.

  • Take a different path to self betterment, connect with education and people and jobs.

This is why I tell people that literally anyone is capable of starting at the bottom and becoming upper class. I started out at the bottom, having to save for a month just to have enough change to do a single load of laundry at the laundromat. I'm now in the upper class and I technically have a learning disability. If I can do it, any of these retarded cocksucker can.

Yes, even you, meow_cow, ya fagot.

"Yes, even you, meow_cow, ya fagot." Nah, that's too much work. Besides you probably sell drugs anyway. : )

It's an egg or chicken question.

Are they poor because they are stupid?

Or are they stupid because they're poor?

[–] meow_cow 0 points 0 points (+0|-0) ago

No it isn't. Most poor people are at least kind of stupid. Since most poor people are fat it isn't an nutrition issue like most liberals claim (eating healthy isn't expensive).

I once - when I was young and naive - did some volunteering for the poor and downtrodden too; not legal advice but providing some tutoring for their kids homework (you know the poor bastards couldn’t speak the language and couldn’t help their own kids themselves and education is the key to their kids success and kumbaya and all that...)

never again, let the fuckers rot in their own filth and ignorance.

ps seriously, want to red pill some of your naive friends still tempted by sjw ideas? strongly encourage them to do such volunteer work for a while...they don’t even need to be shipped off to some third world hellhole anymore to achieve the same effect, now that third world shit ihas been forcibly shipped right at our doorstep

Nah, you actually did something aka put your money where your mouth is. (Also you showed tha ability to think by coming to a conclusion instead of keep going with propaganda no matter waht.)

The usual SJW is only there for the talking and would never actually do something.

Same thing happened to me many years ago. I volunteered and donated to an inner city charity type event. So I show up and they demand I do all this work, which is fine right, that's what I was there for. Except they watched and did nothing, note they were able and healthy bodies. The attitude was incredibly shocking. Very demeaning. It was eye opening. Then they asked me what time I would be in tomorrow. I only agreed to one day, but they pestered me with phone calls for months saying they needed help with office work.. Da fuck? Sad part was the other volunteers caved to the bullying LOL, I wonder how long they kept going.

Edit: And they did NOT look destitute, as they shuffled through donated toys for their kids complaining that most toys sucked.

Still kudos for actually having gotten off your ass and acted on your beliefs. There are too many people who are all talk and no action.

At the very least you got a huge, bitter red pill for yourself out of this.

Reminds me of this. https://kek.gg/i/pbHXM.png

It's a long read. It's a lawyer talking about working for...urban people... for years and what he learned.

As much as I hope some of this is made up or exaggerated it sadly sounds too believable.

The following comment summed things up nicely.

In my experience, how grateful they are depends on how used to they are in getting free stuff. People that live off the government (especially those in families that have been doing it for generations) for everything typically are very ungrateful; they expect it. People who are down on their luck and who are not used to people just giving them things are extremely grateful.

This is not necessarily true of the poor - it's true of everyone. Friends, family ask for for free legal advice. What starts as a favour becomes an expectation, then becomes an obligation. And they (friends and family to whom you've given free advice) are the first to sue you for "bad advice". In Québec, 80% of the ethical complaints are made by friends or family of the lawyer.

Sounds like being the ‘computer guy’ amongst friends / family ; not only your time is not valued, but if you do fix something or give advice on some purchase or whatever, you now own the problem (i.e., will be blamed for anything happening thereafter and expected to keep fixing it) for ever... heard similar stories from the designated ‘car guy’ elsewhere...

"So if my computer is so fucked up and out-dated, then sell it and buy a new one from that money. It cost me $800 7 years ago, so it should still at the very least fetch a $500!"

I love my fucked up family. At least when I fix shit for them they either buy me beer or make me food, and they don't fucking blame me when their failure to maintain their (computer/car/house) causes future problems. They either pay someone to fix it or bribe me with more food/alcohol.

But fixing shit for other people? Pay up front, in cash/services, and I'll give you a receipt detailing other shit that's already wrong and likely to be wrong in the future.

Yep. My wife, a nurse, is also frequently called on for free medical advice. Fortunately for her, it's usually accepted when she tells them to pay a doctor instead.

Lots of professionals e.g., auto mechanics, graphic designers, etc. have comparable problems.

This same shit happened on the reservation. Fancy people would come to help and folks would waste SO much of their time not being organized, not being honest, not being punctual or prompt. The abject poor will drive you fucking CRAZY.

The problem is that there are no repercussions for their behavior. If instead of helping the person who didn't bring the paperwork they were told to, that person should be dropped in priority to "only if you have free time" status. Same if you miss an appointment and don't call in advance, or whatever else. In the real world you would be charged for these things; in the "everything is free fo me" world there also needs to be consequences.

When I go to a lawyer and it is costing me hundreds of dollars per hour, I do every fucking thing in my power to make their job quicker.

[–] OricaTonithos 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago  (edited ago)

Yep.

It's not like the "feed the children" campaign commercials, where outstretched hands grasp at hope and a second chance. These are people (most of them) who are suffering the costs of their own foolish choices. Many of them want that meal, that break, that shot of money so they can carry on in the ways they know: the same ways that brought them into their predicament. Most of them want it without advice, without assessment or persuasion to abandon their destructive paths. They are trapped in the pit they dug for themselves, and to rescue them from THAT often means to strike at the heart of how they interpret their world and how they view themselves in it. Seems a funny thing, but the core of it is Pride. Once that is broken and set to a more proper foundation, the game is back on the winning side.

"Libtards," as we call them, mostly don't understand or acknowledge this factor because much of their philosophy revolves around a belief that the cause of poverty and destitution is about the "Haves" oppression of the "Have-Nots" or Class Warfare. It's rarely the fault of the crack addict that they're addicted and reckless with their lives. It's not the unwed mother's fault that she got pregnant from unprotected sex with the local 'bad boy'.

The "loony bin" doesn't exist anymore, so the truly fucked up minds out there are not going to be separated from downtown life in the city. Those eventually go and populate prisons when they do something bad enough.
