That actually made me laugh out loud because I totally get where you are coming from. That's one of the reasons I rarely posted in the threads that hit r/all.

And I will be honest, though I came over after the banhammer was dropped, I never thought that I would be as disgusted as I am now at what is going on over there. I didn't post in the banned subs, I wasn't much more than a lurker of r/all and a couple small subs really, it was simply a matter of principle for me. I tried not to care once I came over to Voat, but the high and mighty attitude behind the scenes there is actually insulting.

Agreed, I left after they'd banned FPH, and the overall response it garnered. I'd occasionally comment but it'd generally end with half-hearted puns, an upvoat, or random rage. After seeing the week or so of mass deletions, bannings, and flaming by both sides I stopped going back entirely. These people remind me of the Socialist Alliance at every uni I've been to, they just refuse to accept a competing view, act entitled as fuck, then get angry and accuse you of wrongdoing when you just want to get away; although they never followed me across the street to a competitors place and started hurling bricks at it so they have that going for them.

Here just seems a lot more open to participation, especially with the CCP requirements. Overall I'm liking the atmosphere, and I'm hoping that we can keep it somewhat close to what it is now while it keeps expanding.
