I can't help but think that while reddit corp continues to take advantage of SRS as a weapon against other websites, they're not actually prepared to absorb the legal liabilities that's about to come with it. Such as the service attack and name slander against voat.co within the past few days and bragged about on their website.
They hired the likes of Pao as their head, so not so surprising they're all incompetent IMHO after all.

i saw something on here that sort of makes sense, unfortunately i cant find it anymore- pao was hired as a temporary CEO do the dirty work and will then be discarded

I thought it was pretty obvious at the point that they refused to take down the subs even though they too violated reddits new terms.
