It's just such foreign concept to me, to actually care so much that a group would leave one site and go to another, regardless of the reasons why. Literally cannot make sense of it. I suppose any rational person wouldn't though.

The only way I can even logically justify it is in a business sense. Unless they're financially invested in Voat failing, such as being part of a competing firm, there's no fucking reason beyond butthurt.

I could understand that if it was the case. If this was traditional brick and mortar business, if customers began going to the new competitor down the street, why would the customers of the established business give a shit? They aren't financially invested. Hell, they may like that there is less people clogging the aisles or causing lines. The only ones actively trying to stem the tide should be the actual stakeholders. Stop them by offering a superior product or experience. Not shady manipulation and sabotaging the competition.

It is people with no life, no friends and nothing to live for. It's hollow people who harass others to feel superior. Reddit is full of them.
