Uhhh... how about not letting gay people die for the sake of protecting a pedophile cult?

It's like they have a oppression chart. "Right, gays are below Muslims on here."

Trump just won the gay vote

What about gay Muslims tho?

Yeah; I know it doesn't make sense, but there's also gay Christians.

But there is a fine line between criticism and bigotry

It's not exactly like these posters are interested in having a rational discussion on the subject.

Mental gymnastics, everyone. Is it not bigoted and irrational to censor a topic based on the assumption that everyone else is bigoted and irrational?

It's not exactly like these posters are interested in having a rational discussion on the subject.

And the mental gymnastic it takes to say a discussion needs to be censored because no one wants to discuss it.

Clearly the mods are the arbitrators of truth. Definitely not thought police.

But there is a fine line between criticism and bigotry

No there isn't - they're completely unrelated. A comment can be bigoted and sincere criticism, or it can be either one, or neither. You can even have things like the Arizona Birth Certificate Law which was passed out of bigotry but was actually a good idea.

Probably the best bet is to stop trying to police speech.

I think it's projection. That poster doesn't want to have a rational discussion on the subject.

I don't know, maybe follow the fucking First Amendment.

The Constitution restrains the government, not private entities.

Of course, but it is a viable option that could have been used, mod was trying to say they had no choice.

What about paid government contractors and military personnel (cough Eglin Air Force Base cough) who work to censor content on public media sites? Does the First Amendment apply to them?

Wait... I thought there was an abortion clinic shooter/bomber who was white, and Reddit lambasted white Christians as racists. Can anyone confirm??

Edit: I'd do it myself, but have no reliable memory of the thread, and wouldn't know how to find it beyond google searches.

Edit 2: Found it

Yea. 3 people died. If that's the best example these fucks have of "Christian terrorism" then they've already made our point.

In the comment mentioned in the OP, the cuck wrote

"It was locked because lately people on reddit are using incidents like this to attack an entire group. Does Islam have serious issues these days? Of course it does. Should be people be critical of a religion when it espouses violence? Absolutely they should. But there is a fine line between criticism and bigotry. Suppose for a moment there was an abortion clinic bombing and people were using that opportunity to attack all Christians. Or the US accidentally bombed some civilians while attempting to take out a terrorist leader and people used it as an opportunity to say all Americans are blood thirst savages."

This poster used the example of a Christian abortion clinic bomber as something that they (the left) wouldn't use to attack all Christians, yet that is precisely the issue they used to attack all Cristians.

The commenter is clearly a dumbass who denies the bigotry of liberalism.

Millennials are embarrassing. As a 90s liberal myself, it's fucking embarrassing what causes these morons choose as well as the crazy shit that comes out of their mouths. The cognitive dissonance is off the charts. I don't think anyone in my generation would have ever voluntarily agreed to censorship whether by the government or a stinking forum site. These morons let others smarter than them decide what's best for them.

Yeah, Gen-Xers fucked them over good, but... Millennials are some bad mutation of liberalism. Supporting censorship? Supporting homophobes and misogynists simply because they aren't white? Saying 'All Lives Matter' is racist but saying 'Black Lives Matter' is not racist? They are so desperate for causes to stand up for and define their generation that they create bullshit ones.

As a millennial, I am so sorry. Fuck the rest of my friends now too, cause hell, they're all super left wing faggots now. My generation is filled with an assload of literal cuckolds.

They keep digging the hole deeper and deeper.

having a rational discussion on the subject.

rational is being only party approved words, discussion is being circlejerk.

And now think about it, if doublspeak is so noticable like in this case, what do we not notice.

I don't think "cucked" is the right term for these people anymore. There has to be a term for hard core, extremist super cucks that transcend regular cuckoldry.

[–] 5482710 0 points 4 points (+4|-0) ago

True. The Islam apologists have gone way beyond just childish contrarianism or trying to cool the fires of religious tensions because of human rights concerns. They're downright delusional.

I have never seen anything like this before. We are going to have to invent a term to describe their suicidal levels of stupidity.

The first step in fixing a problem is to recognise that it exists. Burying stuff like this only leads to others suffering needlessly.
