Basically I made a fox sub that the powermods didn't think I could grow because it didn't have all of r/foxes's unnecessary rules based on what the mods like and don’t like. When it grew to 7k subs in a few months they freaked out at me because 1) it threatened their monopoly on the topic of foxes, and 2) it proved that their censorship doesn't hurt subreddits' growth, and in fact helps it because the users like the mods.
Here is the story of me being chucked: https://www.reddit.com/r/WatchRedditDie/comments/a310vp/reddit_admins_retroactively_censoring_my_content/
I was originally going to keep making alts, but I quit reddit when the admins and powermods made harassment accounts to stalk me and organized a crusade against me and my subreddits (which btw they severely violated their own TOS). I’m not using a site whose managers act like that. They also sent several shills into my fox sub to redirect everyone to their r/foxes sub and make mine look bad. There are reports of shills in Voat and notabug.io in the past few days as well, around the same time my subreddits got them. I don’t think it’s too hard to see what the source of the problem is here. In the past few weeks reddit also had snew taken down by github.
Fuck /r/EverythingFoxes, /r/The_Cabal, CrystalVulpine, free speech, and go1dfish (definitely not edited by spez, and was definitely not originally “fuck spez”)
