The pattern was Nn = Nn-1 + Mn, where N is initially 22 and M is the sign alternating prime numbers. For example M = {+1, -2, +3, -5, +7, -11, +13, -17, +19, -23, +29, -31... }.

Now to get the 12th number, Nn-1 = 36, Mn = -31, Nn = 36 + -31 = 5.

I was just adding and subtracting in my head. I’ve never been good at formulas.

Sometimes I think it is just luck at how quickly one can spot the regularity of certain patterns/changes.
