use molten sulfur to mix with Martian dirt and then let it set until it hardens.

I had intended to post this only to ridicule the idea of using sulphur (toxic) for building things on Mars. But the rest of the article wasn't too bad so I gave it a pass.

But since you mentioned it... yup, it's a pretty dumb idea.
