See, this is the danger of legalization. States masquerading as other states to keep the pot to themselves. Just sad.

I'm far from being a millenial, but I'm amazed that marijuana / hemp and it's byproducts are still illegal at a federal level. There have recently been a ton of studies conducted that have never been able to be done, and they are proving that there is actually a huge medicinal benefit. Then think about the textile industry and the massive benefit that hemp has over many paper / plastic items. And to top this all off, the government can tax the ever living shit out of it. When Colorado was going through the process of full blown legalization, they made a 5 year plan for the incoming taxes from the sale of marijuana. They severely underestimated the numbers and were able to complete their 5 year plan in less than one year.

The pros heavily outweigh the cons here. Voat of all places should be aware of the lies that got marijuana to this point. Think George Soros type dude running the cotton / paper industry and doing everything he can to prevent the hemp industry from succeeding. (((People))) paid off other (((people))) and the propaganda machine whirred to life and in no time flat it became completely illegal. It ended up getting placed as a schedule 1 narcotic alongside heroin... Methamphetamine and oxycontin are schedule 2 in case you were wondering.
