It's actually quite surprising to me. I figured it would just be Washington, Alabama (which isn't even airplanes on this list), and Maryland. I had no idea so many states even made planes at all. To be honest, it looks like the chart categorizes the entire aerospace industry as airplanes (rockets, accessories, military IT, etc.).

The Boeing plant(s) in Washington must be fucking huge. Not a large state population but monstrous airplane exports

Boeing HQ has the largest building I've ever seen. its like miles long, with airplanes going in/out the doors

California is a fucking hypocrit. Their major export is one the largest polluters. Not some hippie or anything but planes are only bested in pollution output by the shipping industry in the oceans.

The fact they want to preach about so called "Global Warming" then turn around the their number one export be airplanes. Come on. That should be a wake up call to anyone about California and their opinions.
