I cant even imagine changing trades, I spend too much time perfecting assemblies to be tolerant of single task specialists. Im defiantly finding the reduction in the scope of ability that new trades certificates provide to be a significant hamper for effective work. I expect the people around me to be able to use a meter and a welder and diagnose hydraulic symptoms without supervision but the world is changing and people don't take pride in work much anymore.

What was wrong with a couple of dcvs a pump and some luffs. Level and balance management, traverse rate control, datum selection, its too much unnecessary accessorizing
But seriously, i don't even like having to go poke a mechanic to double check my engine work, diesel is as diesel does.
