You can likely see if turning the screen gives any functional input to your x-server by running "xev" and doing it. Then, if yes, you might well just map it to execution of some script that does whatever you want to be done when turning it, but from this point you're mostly on your own.

Once the hardware has been around for a while, depending on how popular it is, there is very likely going to be a project for making it work, and the Arch distro with its AUR (basically a repository of adapted build-files for upstream-sources instead of complete binaries) would likely be the first to have support for it.
