Did you try to set a static IP? If so, you may have picked one that's not in your IP range.

It's been a while since I've used Ubuntu, but try this:

sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

sudo /etc/init.d/isc-dhcp-server restart

This should get your DHCP up and running, if I remember right.

No static IP. I'm using DHCP but ill try giving it a restart when when it happens again and report back.

Technically, you don't have to wait. You can reset it whenever you want, then wait. If it happens after that, this wasn't the answer. If it doesn't, then we fixed it.
