I've never used a Linux OS before, I decided to try out Ubuntu 14.04 after reading and watching numerous reviews.
After a couple hours of troubleshooting installation and Grub menu issues I got it to work.
I have to say it was quite fun even though it was frustrating at first.
I'm doing a dual boot Win 8.1 and Ubuntu, so far no issues that I can see since I fixed the grub menu not populating.
Anywho I really like it but do you guys have any suggestions on programs, things I should learn/know, tips, etc?
I frequently torrent media, I use Usenet, edit and create videos, and play a lot of CSGO. Hoping I can do all of that on Ubuntu and eventually fully switch.
Edit: btw I'm sorry if this is the wrong subverse
Update: I broke it :D
Did fresh install trying again. For some reason my graphics drivers weren't well liked.

Also there is a weird lag when you first shoot you can fix that by switching off multicore in video settings (I think). Love csgo on Ubuntu! Feels smoother.

Is Css playable. I didn't get Csgo and my last game in the CS line was Source. I really miss playing.
