Manjaro's LiveUSB and installation process is about as easy as Ubuntu (except I think Nvidia setup still requires a manual step). But for me Arch is easier, because I do a lot more uninstalling than installing to go from Manjaro to a lean i3 setup I like.

Most of the Linux software I run is actually in chroot or isolated to a user; usually installed in /home/*/pkg from Gentoo packages. But for the base system it's nice to have something more stable than Gentoo, and Arch is perfect. Once you scrape off the secret sauce from Manjaro it's 99% Arch.
