So recently I learned about linux being a free OS and decided to see if I could resurrect one of my dead laptops with it. Turns out it worked in bringing it back to life (although I had lost everything that was originally on it - not to worry though, it was all school related and i just graduated). After the success I decided to try and commit to the OS and use it regularly. So, since I built my second computer, I ended up splurging on a new HD and installed Mint on it (since it was widely suggested to noob users). I have it up and running and have been using it for a while. However, my Windows-user brain is having trouble wrapping my head around many things. One of which is learning to use the terminal. Oh god do I want to learn how to use that. But I can't seem to find a good source on how to tap into its full potential. All i really ever do when i need to download something or install a program, i have to look up commands online and copy it into terminal.
Is there any source that veteran users swear by when it comes to learning to efficiently use the terminal?
