Archived Linux Powered Tablet (Linux)
submitted 4.3 years ago by 2100
I'm in the market to buy a Linux powered tablet. Primarily as a platform to read books and watch movies. I will not buy products made by Apple, Microsoft, or Google.
What options does that leave me? I mostly want to have a comfortable platform to read books, without Amazon/google/microsoft like surveillance and control over how I use my tablet.

Loads of chinese companies make them now, although they mmight come pre-shipped with windows.
I think unity and KDE have tablet compatible desktops now, not sure though.
