I used to make my shopping list by categories (dairy, fruits/veggies, frozen, etc.). That's fine but you may find yourself back-tracking through the store to go from the dairy back to the fruit section for example.
I shop at a few regular stores and I've memorized their layout pretty well. It's probably the same for you too.
Next time you make your shopping list arrange it by the sections you usually walk through as you travel through the store.

I love cooking, and I totally avoid processed food.
I always buy raw ingredients and make my own dishes.
Contrary to what tumblrina mayo dumpsters like to spread online, it's much cheaper and definitely healthier.

I gotta get back to basics like that. I'm vegetarian and used to buy more bulk foods but have been slipping and buying packaged goods like cereal and veggie pot pies, etc.
