It should be illegal to force farmers to dump their harvests like this. Instead of dumping 14% of this crop, wouldn't make more sense to harvests 100% and ship 14% of the harvest somewhere that could use it and aren't ever going to be customers of the remaining harvest? Ship it to Haiti, Ethiopia, the Sudan, etc.

Cherries are great. A healthy, tasty supplement that aids inflammation, and is recommended by doctors for people with gout and arthritis. But hey, let's just dump these to please shareholders instead of donating them to people who might need them. Cherries are expensive. This is sick.
