My annoyance with Hebrew stems from the conjugation and sentence structure. Instead of saying "The fat, black dog is sleeping," you have to structure the sentence like this: "The dog, black, fat, is sleeping." It's very confusing.

Isn't that the same as romance languages which place adjectives after nouns? Le chat noir, for example.

Kind of, but " the fat black cat" would be "le gros chat noir" in French, whereas in Hebrew it would be "the cat, the black, the fat."
People talk a lot more than they did 5000 years ago, so maybe Hebrew needs to be modernized.
